How to get from the airport to the conference

From O’Hare Airport to the Hotel Orrington

By Train on the CTA (Cost - $2.50; about 1.5 hours):
Follow signs to train/CTA transportation.  CTA cards can be purchased at the machines outside the station. Take the Blue Line towards Forest Park (Southbound).  At Clark/Lake Street, transfer to the Red Line to Howard (northbound).  At Howard, transfer to the Purple Line to Linden (northbound) to Davis Street.  The Hotel Orrington is 2 blocks east and 1 block north of the station.  For additional fare and route information, visit www.transitchicago.com. During rush hours (approximately 6:30 AM-10:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM) the Purple Line runs through the Loop and you may make that transfer at Lake Street, bypassing the extra transfer to and from the Red Line.
