Each year the Society for Neuroeconomics invites applications for its annual Young Investigator Award. The award includes a $1000 monetary prize and an engraved plaque, which is presented at the Plenary dinner at the Annual Meeting of the Society. Individuals who are no more than 10 years past the date of their terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., etc.) as of the current conference year are eligible to apply. Applicants should also be Society members in good standing. The successful applicant will demonstrate significant contributions to understanding the neural basis of decision making or the impact of this knowledge on formal understanding of decision behavior. Applications will be reviewed by an ad-hoc committee appointed by the President of the Society.
To apply: Applicants are required to submit a one-page description of their work and its relevance to neuroeconomics, a current CV, and two signed, sealed letters of recommendation. The deadline for submission is August 1, 2011.
Nominations will also be accepted. Please submit a recommendation letter and the applicant's CV.
